Kapil Bansal is an outcome- and innovation-driven technology leader with over 23 years of experience in hardware R&D across leading semiconductor companies including Intel, Qualcomm, and Freescale. He has consistently demonstrated organizational leadership by building and scaling high-performing hardware teams of 40+ engineers, instilling a culture rooted in efficiency, quality, and innovation.

Kapil brings diverse technical expertise spanning Machine Learning, compute architectures, Xeon/client/mobile SoC designs, cache coherency, power management, functional safety, low-power design, as well as design and verification flows. He has played a pivotal role in driving multiple chip design programs—leading initiatives from architecture exploration through execution, silicon bring-up, qualification, and final product release (PRQ).

He holds 2 patents in the CPU domain and has received multiple best paper awards for his contributions to CPU design. His technical depth is complemented by a passion for knowledge-sharing, including guest lectures on machine learning.

Kapil also brings a strong interest in product management and business strategy, actively aligning engineering execution with broader market and product goals to maximize value delivery.
